플러그인의 절대강자 Waves의 짧고 간결한 보컬 믹싱 튜토리얼입니다.
최근 보컬 믹싱에서 힘들었던 부분들이 잘 정리되어 있네요.
간략히 정리해보면,
DeEsser를 통해 치찰음 'S'를 감쇄시키고,
EQ로 로우컷을 해주고 고역대를 부스트 시켜줍니다.
컴프레서를 fast or medium attack으로 설정한 후
리버브로 보컬에 깊이를 더해주고,
딜레이로 미묘한 공간감을 형성해줍니다.
별것 아닌것 같지만, 상당한 효과를 볼 수 있습니다.
역시 기본이 가장 중요하다는 것을 또 한번 느끼네요~!

- Reducing harsh “S” sounds (sibilance) using Waves DeEsser plugin.
- Using Waves Renaissance Equalizer to roll-off low frequencies
